　　CGA-Canada is pleased to announce funding support for the following CGAs enrolled in doctoral studies. See Doctoral Funding Program for more information.
 

　　Muriel Dufour is pursuing a PhD at the ?cole Nationale d’Administration Publique. She is researching the transfer of financial resources between organizations in the face of natural disasters. She aims to advance the understanding of accounting and finance transfer processes, and to develop standardized models aimed at facilitating operations and improving the effectiveness of emergency procedures. Ms. Dufour is a member of l’Ordre des CGA du Québec.
 

　　Esther Maier is pursuing a PhD in general management at the Richard Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario. Her research is building on her 15-year career as a finance executive in the film and television industry. She is exploring how accountants and non-accountants use budgets and other financial practices to coordinate their day-to-day activities in a sector characterized by collaborative work processes and multidisciplinary teams. Ms. Maier is a member of CGA Ontario.
