　　Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka（斯里兰卡特许会计师协会）
 
　　In October 2013, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka) and CPA Australia have entered into a mutual recognition agreement (MRA) to further develop the relation between the two bodies and establish the guidelines on how qualified members can gain reciprocal membership.
 
　　How to become a member
　　The following steps show how CA Sri Lanka -qualified members can become CPA Australia members under the MRA.
 
　　Step 1: Determine your eligibility
　　As a CA Sri Lanka member, you will be eligible for Associate membership with CPA Australia if you:
 
　　hold a degree comparable to at least an Australian bachelor degree level or have at least five years’ work experience in professional accounting
 
　　have passed the CA Sri Lanka examinations and CA Sri Lanka practical experience requirement
 
　　CA Sri Lanka have not gained your CA Sri Lanka membership through another MRA
 
　　are a current member in good standing with CA Sri Lanka
 
　　Each application is subject to an assessment of qualifications.
 
　　Step 2: Complete your application
　　Complete the application form (PDF) and submit it with:
 
　　certified true copies of 100 points of identification
 
　　certified true copies of your official degree awards and transcripts
 
　　certified true copies of your CA Sri Lanka membership certificate and examination results
 
　　letter of good standing from CA Sri Lanka, dated no older than one year prior to the application and containing:
 
　　the date you joined CA Sri Lanka
 
　　the date you advanced to your current membership level
 
　　confirmation that you are not currently subject to any disciplinary sanctions or investigation, and have not been subject to any disciplinary sanctions in the past five years
 
　　Step 3: Submit your application
　　Send your application with certified true copies of your documents to ma.comms@cpaaustralia.com.au or mail them to:
 
　　Member Services
　　CPA Australia
　　GPO Box 2820
　　MELBOURNE VIC 3001
　　Australia
 
　　Alternatively, you can mail your application to your nearest CPA Australia office.
 
　　Step 4: Processing your application
　　Your application will take approximately 10 to 15 working days to process. Once we finalise the assessment of your application, we will send you an email advising you of your assessment outcome.
 
　　If we have any questions about your application or need additional information, we will contact you.
 
　　Step 5: Advance to CPA status
　　To attain the CPA designation, eligible CA Sri Lanka members will need to successfully complete the CPA Program professional level segment CPA118 - Ethics and Governance.
