　　职位描述:

　　The FC APAC is responsible for the overall management of the accounting & control function in APAC. The FC APAC manages the internal accounting team (mostly based in Beijing) as well as the external accounting service providers for the other entities in the region. The FC APAC reports to the VP Finance & Control.

　　Primary Responsibilities:

　　· The FC APAC is responsible for the finance and control function in APAC and is the primary interface for the business in APAC into the Finance and Control team for all matters related to accounting, reporting, tax and compliance;

　　· Overall control and direction of accounting matters in the region in line with prevailing accounting standards and group policies; Prepares the periodic and annual accounts in a timely fashion and against high quality and accuracy standards;

　　· Ensures that the regulatory requirements of all statutory bodies are met regarding the company’s financial affairs;

　　· Management & Financial accounting  responsibilities for the APAC region (main office Beijing, but smaller entities in other countries);

　　· With the tax director, drives the tax compliance agenda into the teams and implements the transfer pricing framework for the group following the centralization of developed and acquired intellectual property;The FC APAC supports a structural tax compliance framework for Irdeto in the APAC region;

　　· The FC APAC implements the global transfer pricing structure and buy – sell model in APAC and advices on the need for adjustment to the current models;

　　Works as a business partner to the Asia Pacific regional sales and marketing team;

　　· Supports the global business control team members in the product, services and S&M organization in matters that deal with APAC, e.g. deal support;

　　· Pro-actively drives process improvements and projects as identified;

　　Maintaining the relationship with external accounting, audit and tax advisors for the entities in APAC;

　　· Manages performance and development of a diverse team of approx. 5 professionals and additional outside accounting firms in the smaller offices in the region;

　　· Potential Directorships of various legal entities in the region.

　　Additional Responsibilities:

　　· As part of the Finance & Control leadership team, the FC APAC has an overall responsibility within the team to support and constructively challenge all key projects and initiatives in the group;

　　· If required the FC APAC will also participate in projects outside of his direct area of responsibility.
 

　　Required Skills an Experiences:

　　· 10 to 15 years of related working experience;

　　· Good understanding of the Asian business culture and language ( Mandarin) while being able to work in a Western / international business culture, preferably a Chinese national with working experience in a Western MNC;

　　· Strong personality, i.e. the ability to find the right balance between challenging and supporting the business, also under time pressure;

　　· Ability to manage, engage and develop teams; Ability to provide hands on support to the team when needed is key considering size team and nature business;

　　· Good commercial understanding and ability to balance commercial interest with financial risk and risk mitigation in support to the sales teams;

　　· Ability to think strategically and to translate this into operational activities and short term plans;

　　· Good understanding of key business drivers in the IT Services industry;

　　Track record of working in a time-constrained environment;

　　· Education (financial / business) or working experience at academic or + level ( CPA, CMA, MBA or equivalent);

　　· Trustworthy as the position will require a high degree of confidentiality;

　　Business minded and astute, gets the job done;

　　· Excels in English and mastering additional languages is a plus.
