3. CFA Exam Confirmation Letter
Candidates need to print out the exam confirmation letter and bring it with them into the exam room. In addition, the exam confirmation letter allows candidates to choose the specific location of the exam room, making it easier to find the exam room more accurately.
In addition, candidates can also bring glasses (excluding boxes), original calculator shells, key cards and replacement batteries, as well as other medical equipment allowed by the CFA association.

3、 Precautions for the 2024 CFA exam
1.Candidates must arrive at the examination venue at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time for the exam.
2. The examination staff will receive candidates and inform them how to store personal belongings.
3. The invigilator will check the candidate's identification documents. Candidates need to ensure that the name on their ID matches the name displayed on their CFA Institute account and has not expired on the day of the exam.
4. The examination room will provide draft paper and pens.
5. Candidates can bring calculators allowed for the CFA exam into the venue, and the invigilator will check the calculators.
6. The invigilator will guide the candidate to sit down in front of the assigned computer, and the candidate will start the exam.
4、Precautions for CFA seat reservation in 2024
(1) Candidates who have already paid the registration fee must complete the seat reservation before completing the exam registration. Different exam windows have different scheduling deadlines for seat appointments. Candidates must complete the appointment before the corresponding deadline in order to complete the exam registration. Candidates who fail to complete their seat reservation within the prescribed time limit will not be able to participate in the exam, and the exam registration fee will not be refunded.
(2) The 'Schedule Your Exam' link under the CFA Program module is the only effective way to complete the exam reservation. Please do not make appointments through other interfaces.
(3) After completing the seat reservation, if the candidate needs to proactively change the exam reservation information, including the exam date, time, or location, at the same exam window, Prometric will charge a seat reservation change fee of $250. Please choose carefully.
(4) A seat reservation change fee of $250 is required for candidates who voluntarily apply for a seat change.
(5) To change the appointment for the exam, it is necessary to complete the operation before the corresponding rescheduling deadline.
(6) The change of exam reservation only supports operations within the same exam window.
4、 The appointment process for the CFA exam in February 2024 is as follows:
1. Enter the official website of the CFA Association (www.cfainstitute. org) and fill in your personal account and password;
2. Click "My account" to enter the candidate's personal account interface;
3. Select "CFA Program" to enter the CFA exam section;
4. Click on "Schedule Your Exam" and then click on the arrow in the bottom right corner to enter the next interface;
5. Select the city and time information to participate in the exam, click on "More Sites" to view all exam points, and check the exam time information in the selected exam points;
6. Once the reservation information for the exam is confirmed to be correct, the information can be submitted.
Candidates who fail to complete their seat reservation within the specified time limit will not be able to apply for a refund of the registration fee.

In 2024, the open cities for China's CFA exam are Beijing, Chengdu, Chongqing, Dalian, Foshan, Fuzhou, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Hefei, Huzhou, Jinan, Kunming, Nanchang, Nanjing, Ningbo, Qingdao, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Suzhou, Tianjin, Wuhan, Xi'an, Guiyang, Haikou, Shijiazhuang, Taiyuan, Wuxi, Zhengzhou, and Zhuhai.

6、 CFA seat reservation principles
The appointment of CFA exam seats is based on the principle of first come, first served, and the availability of appointments will vary depending on the exam center. You must reschedule your exam time and location before the deadline set by the association. If you are unable to arrange or participate in the exam, the CFA exam fee is non refundable, extendable, and non transferable.
