CFA Level 1 and Level 2 exam scores are generally announced around 50 days after the exam, and Level 3 scores are generally announced around 65 days after the exam. Candidates can log in to the CFA Institute to query exam scores, and the score query entry website is https://www.cfainstitute.org/ .

CFA Exam Score Query Method

1. Email Query

After the CFA Association calculates the exam scores of CFA candidates worldwide, they will be sent an email with their transcripts. Candidates need to pay attention to the email address provided during personal registration. The CFA Association will use this email address to send transcripts to candidates. Please note that if you have not received the transcript email during the exam period, you can consider whether the transcript email has been mistakenly treated as spam/advertising email, Candidates can simply click on the "trash can" to restore.

2. Online query

CFA candidates can also check their exam scores by logging into the CFA Association's official website. The specific query process is as follows:

(1) Enter the official website of the CFA Association (https://www.cfainstitute. org/en/) and click on "Log In";

(2) Enter your personal CFA Institute account and password to log in to the account;

(3) Select 'CFA Program';

(4) Select 'About the Exam';

(5) Select 'See when your exam result will be available!';

(6) Select 'Access your exam result (login required)'.

After completing the above steps, candidates can query their personal exam scores.

What is the validity period and passing criteria for CFA exam results?

There is no expiration date for CFA exam scores. After passing each level of CFA, you can take the next level of exam. Note: Candidates need to have at least a 6-month interval before taking the next CFA exam and cannot choose adjacent time windows to register.

The CFA score scoring standard will be determined based on the overall question answering level referenced by all members of the year.

1. The exam score is divided into "Pass" or "Fail";

2. CFA score scoring system
In the CFA exam, each subject will be scored separately, and the grades for each subject are divided into three levels: ≤ 50%, 51% -70%, and> 70%. The CFA Association will compile a weighted average of candidates' scores in various subjects to evaluate whether they can pass the exam;

3. CFA pass criteria
Currently, the CFA Association has not officially released specific pass criteria. The following criteria are estimated based on the actual pass situation of candidates over the years, and the number of correct answers for candidates&gt= 70% of the average number of correct answers for the top 1% of candidates in the global ranking.

CFA Exam Scoring Key Steps

1) Data transmission
After the exam is over, the exam related data will be delivered to Prometric in a secure manner from the exam venue, and then integrated before being delivered to the CFA Institute. This process will take several days.

2) Information review
During the process of waiting for the data to be delivered, we will review the exam experience questionnaire submitted by candidates before the end of the machine test, as well as data related to exam question settings.

3) Data calibration and data quality verification
This process will include verifying and confirming that we have received all the answers and that they match the person answering them one by one.

4) Formal grading process
Confirm that the performance of each version of the exam paper matches expectations. The discussion questions in the Level 3 exam require manual grading, rigorous training, and may also require multiple rounds of grading. Therefore, completing the grading requires an additional few weeks.

5) Standard settings
It takes 2-3 days and the minimum pass score will be obtained upon completion.

6) Automatically generate exam score reports, which are the reports that each candidate will receive.

7) Score release.
